Senior High Band and Choir Members
It is time for our solo and ensemble festival. This year's festival is set for Tuesday, April 19 in Mayville. The schedule for this event is provided on page two of this handout.
Keep these points in mind during the festival:
- focus your attention throughout the day on giving the best performance you can.
- warm up well before your event
- find your performance room and double check you time as part of the first things you do at the festival
- DRESS TO IMPRESS
- please avoid spending time in the "game room". You are to be in performances watching classmates as well as students from other schools.
- DO NOT clog up hallways! If you are waiting for an event, please wait on the sides of the hallways.
- the festival requires that each of our students wears a name tag with their name and school listed on it We will give you those tags on the day of the festival.
- You are responsible for your instrument and your music, including judges copies. All measures in your music should be numbered for you and your judge.
- Represent yourselves and your school well. You have put in a tremendous amount of effort in preparing your solos and ensembles this year. I am proud of your musicianship!
- Have fun giving the best performance you possible can!
