NEW Music Technology Lab on the way!
In early November, the music department was awarded a grant to begin building an electronic music lab in the music room. The lab will include a computer based recording lab with multi-track recording capability, software for performance, music history/theory, keyboarding, and podcasting.
The first phase of building the lab is on its way with the order of a studio desk, computer interface and studio monitors. Other phases to follow include a new computer, microphones, and acoustic treatments.
Follow this blog for updates on the progress of our electronic music lab.

Concert Response 1...
Thursday, Oct. 16 was our first concert for the 2008-09 season.
How did the concert go? Were you pleased? Embarrassed out of your mind? What was your response to this year’s fall concert?

Welcome
Welcome to the LHS Music Blog. This will be a place for discussion on music, performance, recording, and other "out of the box" topics for our classes. The success and development of this blog depends on you, the student contributors.
Take this opportunity to heart. Show each other what music does for you and what you do with music!
As you might expect, standard rules of conduct apply here on the site. If you aren't supposed to use certain behaviors in class, don't use them here. BE SURE to show respect for other students and their ideas.
